B Mitzvah Info Session

Parents of Folkshul students in grades 5, 6, and 7 are invited to attend a B Mitzvah information session with our Officiant team.

At this meeting, we’ll explain the Folkshul coming of age ceremony, what to expect, and next steps, especially if you are looking for a ceremony in the 2027-28 school year.

It’s a fun/exciting/sometimes overwhelming process, but such a meaningful part in a family’s life. We are so happy to be a part of this journey with you.

For families of 5th graders, this meeting is optional, as you will be waiting at least one more year for a ceremony, but it’s always good to know what’s coming up and how to start thinking about it now.

If you have a child in 6th or 7th grade, even if you’re unsure if you want a ceremony, we strongly encourage you to come and receive the registration materials.
